Winner

I love, love, love Evangelin. She possesses a magical mix of sweetness, risk taking, confidence, and love for her profession that is simply charming. Wielding hedge clippers like a pro, she deserved the win tonight, no doubt about it.

Two Gone

What a bad night for the younger stylists in the "Short Cut Challenge" and "From Long to Shorter" Elimination Challenge

Ta, Ta Lacey
Your downfall was to put your own spin on an assignment that was explicit: To copy Sally Hersberger’s Meg Ryan shag as closely as possible.

Your mannequin’s haircut resembled something a stodgy German hausfrau would wear. It truly was your time to pack up your scissors and go.
Bye Theodore

There was nothing inspiring or short about your creation. But you behaved with dignity even when Dr. Boogie egged you on.

What a classy, gracious exit. We’ll miss you.

Was I the only one who was pissed by the way Boogie was behaving, trying to freak Theodore out when there were five minutes left??? He was actually *trying* to sabotage him. That was whack, yo, or something.

I was ready to see Boogie go tonight, actually. His antics are getting to be a little much.

I didn't realize how quickly we would be losing people! We're already down to 8. I bet I can pick the next few to go...

boogie, who i like a lot, made me sad with his egging on of Theodore.

and theodore is such a doll. jeez.

i do not like evangelin. but i never like women anyway. except tabatha. damn she is one tough cookie!

Love Tabatha. She occupies a stratosphere all by herself. If looks could kill, Tyson would have been slayed when he chose her last. I pick her to go all the way. Dr. Boogie should have been ashamed of himself.

Isn't that Tyson a smug little bastard?? One little bit of praise and he thinks he rules the world of Shear Genius. How sad. And could you be any more of a mommy's boy if you tried??

Rant over

I just freaking love Tabatha more and more with every episode. She reacted to Tyson the very same way I would have. I think he was a total git to try and get everyone to beg him for next pick or something. I kept waiting for Tabatha to inflict some bodily harm.

But I have to say I'm glad Evangelin won because though her personality makes my skin crawl, the girl SO deserved the win. She did a better haircut with hedge clippers than some of the expensive scissor cuts I have received. But of course she cried when she won. I hope her husband is a plumber cause that girl springs more leaks than Old Faithful.

Who else was glad Theodore left the tank at home this week?

Yes, Tabatha is one tough cookie. I just love her. I agree with Ms. Place; Tabatha should go all the way. Oh, and she's not afraid of anything. I repeat: I love this woman! For some reason, I felt bad for Lacey. I think the poor dear was in way over her head. I'm happy Evangelin won because she deserved the it. I think Theodore stole the show. What an exit! And Dr. Boogie really dissappointed me; I hope he behaves next week.

I love Tabatha as well. The entire episode, all I could think was "wow, she's so freaking cool." When she said her whole "It's OK, I'm going to kick his ass anyway," I nearly lost it. Well, she did, baby scissors and last model and all.

I know Evangelin can be a little much, but I love her too. She's really passionate about haircutting, and I actually think it's cute that she springs a leak in virtually every episode... though I'll understand if I'm alone in that.

I will say, however, that she needs to chill with the hedge clippers - it looks as if she's using them again next week? I wonder how the judges will react to that...

I loved what Tabatha said about the calls home.
"why are they all crying now? They haven't even talked to anyone yet. That's just stupid" Gotta love her.

Tabatha definitely knows her way around a pair of scissors, plus she does have a great deadpan get out of my way attitude. I like Evangelin, but I too am a bit of a cry baby. I've had much worse hair cuts than the one she have with hedge clippers. Dr. Boogie annoys me, as does Danna for some reason I can't explain. Theodore did have a classy exit, but he does have to learn that we don't like pits in our faces!
