US: What's the best way to make gray hair look better?

Anthony: The best way to show off gray hair is with a great cut. Gray hair tends to be a bit coarser than other hair, so you need to keep that in mind when designing the style. I suggest keeping it on the shorter side. A little gray hair on a man can be very handsome and sophisticated, so make it work for you – don't be afraid.


US: Why did you decide to become a stylist?

Anthony: I wanted to become a hair stylist from the tender age of 8 years old. Hair was so interesting to me – the texture, the color, the cut. It was and still is an art form to me. You can tell a lot about a person by the hair. You can change an entire look or mood or feeling, just by changing the hair. Think about it. Ever had a bad hair day?

Shear Genius: That Looks Familiar...

So the challenge last night was to make the client look like the star of her choice. While several came close I just wasn't seeing the right star in the results...well...you decide...

So close but with the weight of the hair sitting low and the part...I thought it was looking a bit "wiggy".

Some people think Cojo is a fashionable...guy?...

On the other hand, nobody would label Grimely as a metrosexual.

Yah, all this really needed was the bows to hold the pig-tails.

So very Mary...you think?

He definitely was the closest...I think the nose helps.

She's great...but would you want her hair?

Hmmm...Wanted "diva", got "Desperate"?

Even a later Brittany Murphy would have been better.

All I can say is..."This one time...at band camp..."

I think the good doctor was focusing too much on Jaclyn Smith...but got the wrong angel.

Do you think Jackie saw this exchange for the first time on the show last night and had a little internal shout of joy? It must be nice to be adored by men and women alike. I personally think that Jesse and Rebecca should go 12 rounds in the ring...I mean Rebecca's really fit and Jesse's a little flabby...I think she could take him. Winner gets Jackie...of course then they'll have to deal with Tiffany!

The Adventures of Patty Jean Coleman
